Welcome to the New Project

This is a new start for the Better 2 Give organization. If you have been following this organization for the year and a half that we have been in existence, then we appreciate you very much and hope that you will continue to support our efforts. Better 2 give was started simply to help people who needs help. We did this last year by having people matching the amount of money in which we had raised up to that point. Last year we raised over $1000 dollars and sponsored a family in Cincinnati to make sure they had a Christmas. Every penny raised went to the family. Myself, the board, and volunteers of this organization don't keep any money that is given to us. We truly believe that it is Better 2 Give than 2 Receive. This year we are doing a more traditional fund raising approach. Therefore I took down all of the post from the last year to make sure no one gets confused. If you want to see pictures or stories just let me know by sending me an e-mail.

This year we have a new project and a new goal. Our goal is to raise $5,000 dollars starting tomorrow and have that money raised by November 26th. Right now we have $65.68 from change I have found in parking lots and from people's donations. The project is to help an orphanage in Monterrey, Mexico and to give them a Christmas. I went to this orphanage this past summer on a mission trip. It is called Del Norte. The children there are absolutely adorable. $5,000 will pay for their utilities, rent, and be able to buy much needed items that they will get as Christmas presents. I will post more about the orphanage and the organization I went through this summer on my visit.

Please join us in this effort.
